Terms of Service
Version 1.2 · Effective date: 31 March 2026 · Last updated: 29 April 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website located at tenurecareers.io and all associated services (collectively, the “Platform”), operated by Tenure Careers (“Tenure,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
1. Definitions
“User” means any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, whether as a free user or a paid subscriber.
“Subscriber” means a User who has purchased a paid subscription to the Platform.
“Content” means all job listings, salary data, market intelligence, editorial commentary, articles, and other information made available through the Platform.
“Stripe” means Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., which acts as the Merchant of Record for all payment transactions on the Platform from May 2026 onwards.
“Dodo Payments” means Dodo Payments, retained as the Merchant of Record for subscriptions opened before May 2026 until those subscriptions naturally lapse.
2. Platform Description
Tenure is a careers intelligence platform providing verified job listings, salary benchmarking data, and market insights for professionals across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. We cover 12 professional sectors: Legal & Compliance, Investment Banking, Investment Management, Corporate & Retail Banking, Risk & Insurance, Strategy Consulting, Technology, Data & Engineering, Technology, Product & Design, Finance & Accounting, HR, Marketing, and Sales & Business Development.
Tenure is not a recruitment agency, staffing firm, or employment service. We do not place candidates, negotiate offers, or act as an intermediary between employers and job seekers. We provide information and intelligence only.
What “verified” means. When we describe job listings as “verified,” we mean that each listing has been confirmed as appearing on the employer’s own careers page and has passed our automated quality filters including sector classification, relevance scoring, and recruiter detection. “Verified” does not mean that we have independently confirmed the role is currently open, that listing details are accurate, or that the employer is currently hiring for the position. You should verify all information directly with the relevant employer.
Use of AI. The Platform uses artificial intelligence services to improve search relevance, classify job listings by sector, and parse search queries. AI is used for service functionality only and does not make employment decisions or screen candidates. For details on how AI services process your data, see our Privacy Policy.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
4. Account Registration
Certain features of the Platform require you to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration and to keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must notify us immediately at support@tenurecareers.io if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account.
Account Deletion. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion, we will permanently remove your personal data within 30 days, including your profile, preferences, saved jobs, applications, CV reviews, and search history. Certain data may be retained where required by law (for example, payment records retained by our Merchant of Record for tax compliance). For full details on data retention and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
5. Free and Paid Access
The Platform offers both free and paid access tiers:
Free access allows you to browse verified job listings and view a limited number of listing detail pages. Salary data is not available on the free tier.
Paid subscription (USD $19 per month or USD $168 per year) provides unlimited access to all job listings, full salary database access, and a weekly curated Tenure Briefing personalised to your preferences. One subscription covers all sectors.
6. Payment Terms and Billing
All payments for subscriptions opened from May 2026 onwards are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (“Stripe”), which acts as the Merchant of Record for those transactions. When you purchase a subscription, your contractual relationship for the payment is with Stripe, not directly with Tenure. Stripe is responsible for the processing of your payment, applicable tax, invoicing, and related billing matters. Stripe’s terms are at stripe.com/legal/consumer.
Subscriptions opened before May 2026 remain billed by Dodo Payments (“Dodo Payments”) as the legacy Merchant of Record until those subscriptions naturally lapse. Dodo Payments’ terms are at dodopayments.com/legal/terms.
Tenure does not collect, store, or process any payment card information, bank account details, or other financial data. All such information is handled exclusively by the active Merchant of Record on your subscription.
7. Subscription Renewal and Cancellation
Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or annually) at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. By subscribing, you specifically authorise recurring charges to your payment method at the applicable subscription rate ($19/month for monthly plans or $168/year for annual plans) until you cancel.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at billing@tenurecareers.io. Cancellation is effective immediately, you will not be charged for subsequent periods. Your access to paid features continues until the end of your current billing period. No pro-rata refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
A confirmation email will be sent after each subscription purchase and renewal, confirming the amount charged, billing period, and cancellation instructions.
8. Refund Policy
Since the Platform offers free access so you can evaluate the service before subscribing, we generally do not offer refunds on subscription payments. However, if you believe you have been charged in error or have experienced a technical issue that prevented access to paid features, please contact us at billing@tenurecareers.io within 14 days of the charge. We will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. All approved refunds are processed through the original Merchant of Record on the subscription (Stripe for subscriptions from May 2026 onwards, Dodo Payments for earlier subscriptions).
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent.

Salary data is based on market research, published reports, and aggregated data points. Actual compensation packages may differ based on individual qualifications, negotiation, employer policies, and market conditions. Salary figures should be used as a general reference and not as a guarantee of compensation.

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Employment Law Content Disclaimer. Tenure operates across multiple GCC jurisdictions with varying employment laws and labour regulations. While we aim to provide accurate information, employment laws change frequently and differ significantly by country, emirate, and employment type. The Platform does not constitute legal advice. Any employment-related content, insights, or guidance provided through Tenure, including salary benchmarks, interview preparation, and hiring trends, should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional legal counsel from a qualified labour attorney licensed in your jurisdiction. 12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tenure and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid to us (via our Merchant of Record) in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tenure, its operator, and their respective affiliates from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or regulation.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, Platform features, or legal requirements. Each version is numbered and dated. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page, updating the version number and “Last updated” date, and providing Subscribers with notice via email at least thirty (30) days before material changes take effect. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you may cancel your subscription before the new Terms take effect. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. This choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer protection provisions in your country of residence where applicable.
Before initiating any formal proceedings, the parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of at least thirty (30) days. If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction requires disputes to be heard in your local courts.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect. The invalid or unenforceable provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
