Each band is tied to the sources behind it, and no band publishes on fewer than three. When your exact role has too little behind it, the tool returns no match. It does not fill the gap with a model.

Where does the pay data come from?
Primary sources: offer letters, employer-confirmed ranges, and salary surveys, each recorded against the role and market it describes. Nothing is crowdsourced and nothing is modelled from job-ad text. No band publishes on fewer than three verified sources, so where the evidence is thin, the tool returns no match rather than a guess.
Why do the pay tools only cover UAE and Saudi?
Those are the two markets with enough verified sources per role to publish credible bands. Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman return when their source count clears the same floor. The gratuity calculator and the cost of living calculator cover all six states, because labour law and prices are published facts and do not depend on our source depth.
How often is the data refreshed?
