Source counts on every band

Every row shows the number of verified sources behind it. Nothing is published with fewer than 3 sources, and the methodology is public.

Refreshed every quarter

Established compensation surveys and anonymised offer-letter data flow in continuously and land in the published bands each quarter.

Your data stays yours

Benchmarking uploads are scoped to your organisation with row-level security. Other customers never see them, and you can delete them anytime.

Questions buyers ask

How is your data different from an annual salary survey?

The annual surveys collect data once a year, so it is 12 to 18 months stale by the time you read it. The Tenure Pay Index refreshes every quarter. We draw on two primary sources, established Gulf compensation surveys and anonymised offer-letter data from Tenure's verified corpus, then publish the source count per role so you can see exactly how many data points back each band.

How many data points back each salary band?

Every row in the dashboard shows the sample size as n=X. We do not publish rows with fewer than 3 sources. Rows with 3 or 4 sources carry a "limited data" badge; rows with 5 or more are suitable for setting bands and benchmarking; rows with 10 or more for offer decisions and leadership reporting. The source count is the indicator, not a separate confidence label. The methodology page documents the policy.

How often is the data refreshed?

The Pay Index refreshes every quarter. Both source buckets flow in continuously, so fresh evidence keeps building through the quarter and lands in the published bands at each quarterly refresh. Each row stores its own last-updated timestamp so you can see how fresh a specific band is.

Where does the data come from?

Two primary sources: extracts from established Gulf compensation surveys, and anonymised offer-letter data from Tenure's verified corpus. Each band's source breakdown shows the mix, and no band publishes on fewer than 3 sources.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Cancel from the Billing tab in the dashboard. The cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period, and you keep access until then. New subscriptions are also covered by a 14-day money-back guarantee, below.

Do you have an API?

Not at launch. API access is on the roadmap for the first enterprise customer that asks for it. If you need programmatic access today, the CSV exports cover most reporting use cases.

Is there a money-back guarantee?

Yes. If Tenure isn't right for your team, email hello@tenurecareers.io within 14 days of your first charge and we'll refund it in full, monthly or annual. One guarantee per organisation. Bulk data extraction during the guarantee window is not eligible (see Terms).

Can I see it before I buy?

Yes. Book a 15-minute demo with the founder and we'll walk your team's exact role mix before you commit.

Why are you this much cheaper than the established guides?

The established reports are printed annually and priced for the print cycle. Ours is a live dashboard with the same underlying data, refreshed every quarter. You also get sample sizes and source counts per role, which the printed guides do not publish.

What sectors are covered?

All twelve sectors are included at $299/month: Legal & Compliance, Banking & Capital Markets, Investment Management, Finance & Accounting, Strategy & Consulting, Technology, Risk & Cybersecurity, Marketing & Communications, Human Resources, Revenue & Go-to-Market, Real Estate & Construction, and Energy. No sector caps.

What countries are covered?

Two markets are live for the B2B Pay Index: UAE and Saudi. Both are included at $299/month, no country selection or upgrade required. Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Oman are not currently in scope for the B2B Pay Index and will be added once source depth matches the live two.

Can I add more seats?

Seats are unlimited on the $299/month plan. Invite your whole HR, reward, and finance team from the Settings tab. There are no tiers, no per-seat add-ons, and no usage-based surprises.

Is my benchmarking data private?

Yes. Data you upload to the Benchmarking tab is org-scoped through Postgres row-level security. Other customers cannot see it. Tenure staff access is restricted to the named roles in the Security Overview at tenurecareers.io/security and access is logged.

Do you store our employee data?

If you use the Benchmarking tab you can upload role-level comp data for matching. That data is stored encrypted at rest, scoped to your organisation, and can be deleted from the Settings tab at any time. We do not require employee names or identifiable information for the match to work. Role title, level, country, and current compensation are enough.
