Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to all paid subscriptions to tenurecareers.io (the “Platform”), operated by Tenure Careers. All payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited, our Merchant of Record.
1. Free Tier and Evaluation
Tenure offers free access to browse job listings so you can evaluate the Platform before subscribing. We encourage all users to explore the free tier thoroughly before purchasing a paid subscription.
2. Subscription Plans
Tenure Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($12/month) or an annual subscription ($99/year, equivalent to $8.25/month). Both plans unlock full access to salary data, the salary benchmarking tool, and the weekly curated newsletter.
3. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You will not be charged for subsequent periods.
No pro-rata refunds are issued for unused portions of a billing period.
4. Refund Eligibility
Because the Platform offers free access so you can evaluate the service before subscribing, we generally do not offer refunds on subscription payments. However, we will consider refund requests in the following circumstances:
Billing errors. You were charged an incorrect amount, charged more than once for the same period, or charged after cancelling your subscription.
Service unavailability. A technical issue on our end prevented you from accessing paid features for a sustained period during your billing cycle.
First-time subscribers. If you subscribed and are unsatisfied, you may request a refund within 14 days of your initial subscription payment.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email us at hello@tenurecareers.io within 14 days of the charge. Please include your account email address and a brief description of the issue. We aim to respond to all refund requests within 5 business days.
6. Refund Processing
All approved refunds are processed through Paddle, our Merchant of Record. Refunds are returned to the original payment method and typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.
Upon refund, your access to paid features will be revoked at the end of the current billing period, or immediately if the refund covers the current period.
7. Disputes and Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, we encourage you to contact us directly at hello@tenurecareers.io before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
