Data Management Consultant

Description

Lead the design and implementation of enterprise data management frameworks, governance models, policies, standards, and operating procedures. The consultant will work closely with business and IT stakeholders to improve data quality, establish data ownership, ensure regulatory compliance, and maximize the business value of organizational data assets.

Key Responsibilities

Lead enterprise data management and data governance initiatives.

Develop data governance frameworks, policies, standards, and procedures.

Define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability models.

Establish data quality frameworks, KPIs, and monitoring processes.

Design metadata management and business glossary structures.

Develop master data management (MDM) strategies.

Support data catalog implementation and governance.

Define data lifecycle management processes.

Develop data classification and data retention policies.

Assess current-state data maturity and recommend improvements.

Conduct data governance workshops with business stakeholders.

Support implementation of governance tools and platforms.

Ensure compliance with local and international regulations.

Prepare executive reports, dashboards, and governance metrics.

Mentor data management specialists.

7 to 10 years in data management or data governance.

Minimum 3 years leading enterprise data governance initiatives.

Experience delivering consulting engagements.
