Job Summary
MySouq is seeking a senior, commercially driven Marketing \& Growth leader to build the company's marketing function from the ground up and scale the brand, customer base, and marketplace.
This is a builder role for a hands\-on marketing leader who can develop the strategy, establish the brand, acquire customers, drive transactions, build marketing capabilities, and create a scalable growth engine.
The successful candidate will combine strategic marketing, brand building, customer acquisition, performance marketing, e\-commerce, social media, content, influencer marketing, CRM, analytics, and commercial thinking.
The role requires someone who can work closely with founders and senior management, challenge assumptions constructively, move quickly, manage ambiguity, and personally execute during the startup phase before building and leading a larger marketing team.
This is not a traditional corporate marketing role focused primarily on managing an established department or coordinating agencies.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Marketing Strategy \& Go\-to\-Market
- Develop and execute MySouq's overall marketing and growth strategy.
- Build the Go\-to\-Market (GTM) strategy for launching and scaling MySouq in Saudi Arabia.
- Define target customer segments, customer needs, value proposition, positioning, and differentiation.
- Develop strategies to establish brand awareness, credibility, trust, and customer adoption.
- Identify the most effective channels and customer acquisition opportunities.
- Translate business objectives into clear marketing priorities, campaigns, budgets, and KPIs.
- Continuously evaluate market trends, customer behavior, competitors, and emerging opportunities.
2\. Brand Building
- Develop and establish the MySouq brand positioning and identity in the Saudi market.
- Build a strong and differentiated consumer proposition.
- Develop brand messaging across digital, social, content, advertising, and customer touchpoints.
- Ensure consistency of brand communication across all channels.
- Build awareness, consideration, trust, and customer loyalty.
- Develop campaigns that strengthen MySouq's position within the e\-commerce and marketplace sector.
3\. Customer Acquisition \& Growth
- Develop and execute customer acquisition strategies across multiple channels.
- Drive customer growth, transactions, revenue, and GMV.
- Develop acquisition plans across paid, organic, social, influencer, referral, partnership, and other channels.
- Monitor and optimize CAC, conversion rate, ROAS, retention, LTV, revenue, and GMV.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition economics.
- Build scalable growth engines while maintaining healthy unit economics.
- Develop and test new acquisition channels, campaigns, and growth initiatives.
4\. Performance Marketing
- Lead the overall performance marketing strategy across relevant digital channels.
- Establish campaign objectives, budgets, audience strategies, and performance KPIs.
- Monitor campaign performance and continuously optimize spend and results.
- Work with internal teams and agencies on paid search, paid social, display, retargeting, and other digital channels.
- Analyze CAC, ROAS, conversion, revenue contribution, and customer quality.
- Reallocate marketing investment based on performance and business priorities.
5\. Social Media, Content \& Influencer Marketing
- Develop MySouq's social media and content strategy.
- Build an engaging and relevant consumer community.
- Develop content calendars aligned with brand and commercial objectives.
- Identify and manage relevant influencers, creators, KOLs, and strategic partners.
- Develop influencer and creator\-led acquisition program
