HSE Engineer

Job Description:

We are hiring a qualified and experienced HSE Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Health, Safety, and Environmental systems to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and industry best practices, specifically in the MEP construction environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in line with project and legal requirements.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify hazards and ensure safe work practices at all MEP project sites.
• Deliver HSE training and toolbox talks to workers and staff.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation, records, and permits to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors on safety\-related matters.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness across all levels of the project team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or equivalent.
• NEBOSH IGC certification is mandatory.
• Minimum 3–7 years of relevant experience in construction, preferably in MEP projects.
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international safety standards.
• Effective communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast\-paced environment.
