QA/QC Engineer

Role Summary

Assist the QA/QC team in ensuring the quality of site installations and ensuring they are consistent with the company's policy requirements, national and international standards, and client specifications.

Personal qualities

We are looking for a versatile QA/QC Engineer in KSA who has the following experience, skills and personal attributes:

 Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, or a related field

 7 years of QA/QC experience in the interior fit\-out industry, with a proven track record in quality inspections, auditing, and compliance

 Relevant quality management certifications (e.g., ISO 9001, Six Sigma, etc.) are preferred

 Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus

 Strong knowledge of fit\-out materials, finishes, and quality standards

 Proficiency in quality management software and Microsoft Office Suite

 Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills

 Familiarity with local and international codes, standards, and regulations

 Detail\-oriented, proactive, and able to work in a fast\-paced environment

Duties and responsibilities

 Develop and implement project\-specific Quality Plans and Inspection Test Plans (ITPs) to guide quality control efforts across all fit\-out activities

 Schedule and coordinate site inspections to ensure work progresses in line with quality standards, ensuring timely identification and resolution of issues

 Conduct detailed inspections of all materials, installations, and finishes (walls, ceilings, joinery, glass, and metal works) to ensure they meet approved specifications, mock\-ups, and samples

 Lead final inspections for project handovers, verifying that all project components are delivered to the highest standards

 Identify and document non\-conformances, manage corrective actions, and perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues

 Oversee the testing of materials and products, such as fire\-rated doors and acoustics, to verify compliance with performance specifications

 Monitor the quality performance of subcontractors and suppliers through audits and regular inspections to confirm they meet project requirements

 Collaborate with vendors to ensure that all materials meet the necessary quality standards and project specifications

 Maintain accurate records of inspections, non\-conformance reports (NCRs), corrective actions, and testing results for easy access during audits or reviews

 Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports, highlighting quality achievements, concerns, and corrective actions taken

 Serve as a point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors on quality\-related matters, addressing concerns promptly and professionally

 Coordinate and facilitate inspections with clients and consultants, ensuring all work meets contractual and quality requirements

 Proactively identify quality risks within project activities and implement solutions to mitigate potential issues

 Ensure compliance with all project\-specific quality and safety standards, as well as relevant local and international codes and regulations

 Drive continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing quality performance metrics, identifying improvement areas, and updating quality processes as needed

 Provide training to project teams on quality standards, inspection procedures, and best practices to ensure consistent quality across all project phases

Pay: ﷼8,000\.00 \- ﷼13,000\.00 per month

Work Location: In person
