About the role
SRN Mechanical Services LLC is looking for an experienced and proactive Senior HSSE Engineer / HSSE Manager to lead Health, Safety, Security \& Environment activities across our engineering, fabrication, manufacturing and project operations.
The ideal candidate should have a strong engineering background, extensive industrial experience, and the ability to develop and maintain a strong safety culture and HSSE management system within the organization.Key Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Mechanical related discipline
Minimum 10 years of relevant industrial experience
NEBOSH IGC – Mandatory
Strong hands\-on experience in HSSE/HSE management
Experience in engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, Oil \& Gas, petrochemical or heavy industry
Candidates with QA/QC Engineering background combined with HSE/HSSE experience will be highly preferred
Good knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001
Strong experience in Risk Assessment, JSA/JHA, Method Statements and Permit\-to\-Work
Experience in incident investigation, safety inspections, audits and corrective actions
Ability to conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, emergency drills and HSSE training
Knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and client\-specific requirements
ADNOC / Oil \& Gas project experience will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing and improving SRN’s HSSE system, ensuring safe working practices across factory and project activities, conducting regular inspections and audits, investigating incidents and near misses, monitoring corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with statutory, ISO and client requirements.
The candidate will work closely with Production, Engineering, QA/QC, Projects and Management to ensure that safety is integrated into all operational activities.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Engineering Degree \+ NEBOSH IGC \+ 10–15 years industrial experience \+ strong HSSE experience \+ QA/QC/Fabrication exposure \+ Oil \& Gas experience.
We are looking for a hands\-on, proactive and leadership\-oriented professional who can independently manage HSSE requirements and contribute to building a strong safety culture at SRN.
