About the role

A well\-established 4\-star independent hotel in Dubai with 173 rooms is looking for an experienced and hands\-on Assistant Revenue Manager.

This is not a reservations or reporting\-only position. The successful candidate must have practical Revenue Management experience and be able to analyze business performance, support and implement pricing strategies, forecast demand, manage distribution and inventory, evaluate group business, and support F\&B pricing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of the hotel's Rooms Revenue Management strategy.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, monthly and annual occupancy, ADR and revenue forecasts.
  • Monitor booking pace, pickup, demand patterns, market conditions and competitor pricing, and recommend appropriate pricing actions.
  • Manage and analyze ADR, Occupancy and RevPAR, with a focus on total profitability rather than occupancy alone.
  • Establish and maintain clear rate structures for FIT, Corporate, Travel Agents, Groups and OTAs.
  • Evaluate group quotations, including minimum acceptable rate, displacement, total group value, supplements, payment conditions and high\-demand dates.
  • Manage pricing and inventory across OTAs, direct channels and other distribution channels.
  • Monitor rate parity, availability and inventory controls.
  • Support pricing strategies for high\-demand periods, exhibitions, public holidays and major Dubai events.
  • Work closely with Sales and Reservations to ensure that approved rates and booking conditions are clear, consistent and properly communicated.
  • Review the profitability of room packages that include breakfast, lunch, dinner or other services.
  • Support F\&B pricing decisions, including group meals, food cost, contribution margin, menu pricing and promotional offers.
  • Work closely with Sales, Reservations, Front Office, F\&B, Finance and Cost Control.
  • Prepare regular revenue reports with clear analysis and recommended actions.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hotel experience, including at least 2 years of direct Revenue Management experience.
  • Current or recent experience as an Assistant Revenue Manager, Revenue Executive, or Revenue Analyst with direct exposure to pricing and forecasting.
  • Dubai/UAE hotel Revenue Management experience is mandatory.
  • Strong experience in 4\-star city hotels; independent hotel experience is preferred.

  • Strong experience with Group and Travel Agent business.
  • Strong knowledge of OTA pricing and distribution, including Booking.com and Expedia.
  • Good practical understanding of F\&B pricing, food cost and contribution margins.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Good knowledge of hotel PMS, Channel Manager and Revenue Management Systems (RMS).
  • Must be able to explain and commercially justify pricing decisions using data and financial impact, not only market observations.

Candidates whose experience is mainly in Reservations, Front Office, Sales or Revenue Coordination, without direct responsibility or practical exposure to pricing, forecasting and Revenue Management strategy, will not be considered.
