About ZAAD
ZAAD is a food delivery and surplus food platform that connects consumers with restaurants, cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, and stores offering quality food and products at significantly reduced prices.
Through ZAAD, businesses can turn surplus food and products that may otherwise go unsold into additional revenue, while customers get great food at up to 60% off.
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Business Development Executive – Partnerships to help us grow our network of restaurant and retail partners across Dubai.
The Role
This is a field\-based sales and business development role for someone who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and closing deals.
You will be responsible for identifying potential restaurant and retail partners, introducing them to ZAAD, explaining the benefits of joining the platform, and successfully onboarding them.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and approach restaurants, cafés, bakeries, supermarkets, food stores, and other potential ZAAD partners.
- Conduct regular field visits and face\-to\-face meetings with restaurant owners, managers, and decision\-makers.
- Present ZAAD's business model and explain how the platform can help businesses generate additional revenue from surplus food.
- Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, online research, and field visits.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential partners.
- Present partnership opportunities, negotiate terms, and close deals.
- Support new partners through the onboarding process and ensure they are successfully set up on the ZAAD platform.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing restaurant and retail partners.
- Follow up regularly with partners to encourage continued participation and activity on the platform.
- Identify new business opportunities and potential partner segments.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, meetings, conversions, and partner accounts.
- Meet agreed weekly and monthly partner acquisition targets.
- Work closely with the marketing and operations teams to support partner promotions and campaigns.
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, business development, merchant acquisition, account management, or a similar role.
- Experience in food delivery, restaurants, F\&B, hospitality, FMCG, e\-commerce, or technology is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
- Confident approaching and communicating with business owners and decision\-makers.
- Highly motivated, proactive, and target\-driven.
- Comfortable working independently and spending significant time in the field.
- Good knowledge of the Dubai restaurant and F\&B market is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
- Having your own car is preferred but not mandatory.
- Must currently be based in Dubai/UAE.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Able to work collaboratively with the ZAAD team.
