Nexus 4 Elements is a Dubai\-headquartered industrial group building and operating assets at the intersection of food security, advanced infrastructure, and technology. The group develops, finances, constructs, and operates facilities in the United Arab Emirates through a portfolio of specialised operating companies — spanning design\-and\-build engineering, vertical indoor farming and food processing, AI datacenter infrastructure, aviation, and management consulting. Our model is asset\-heavy and vertically integrated: we design the facility, build it, operate it, and take the produce or capacity to market. As the group scales across multiple operating companies and capital structures, we are appointing a Chief Financial Officer to take full ownership of group financial strategy, consolidated reporting, capital formation, and the financial governance framework that will carry the group through its next phase of growth

Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer is the senior financial executive of the group and a member of the executive leadership team. You will own the consolidated financial position of Nexus 4 Elements and every entity beneath it, establishing a single group reporting framework under IFRS while satisfying UAE statutory, regulatory, and licensing requirements at entity level. This is a build\-and\-lead mandate rather than a caretaker role. You will design the group's financial architecture, install the governance and control environment, lead capital raising at holding\-company level, and set the standards that entity\-level Finance Directors and Financial Controllers report into. The role demands equal fluency in technical accounting, structured finance, and commercial negotiation — and the credibility to represent the group to banks, investors, auditors, and regulators.

Key Responsibilities

1\. Group Financial Architecture, Consolidation \& IFRS l

• Own the group consolidation: design and operate the reporting framework that consolidates all operating entities into a single set of IFRS group accounts.
• Establish group\-wide accounting policies, chart of accounts, intercompany protocols, and a documented internal control environment applied uniformly across every subsidiary.
• Ensure correct IFRS treatment of the group's core economic structures, including long\-term service and offtake contracts, lease accounting, capitalisation and impairment of infrastructure assets, and revenue recognition across construction and operating phases.
• Lead the annual audit process end\-to\-end and serve as the primary counterpart to group and statutory auditors.

2\. Customer \& Account Administration

• Maintain accurate, current customer master data and buyer information.
• Register new customers and complete the required documentation.
• Keep contact, billing and purchasing\-contact details up to date.
• Prepare and send monthly account statements at month\-end.
• Follow up with customers on outstanding balances and payment status.
• Work closely with Accounts on payment and remittance follow\-up, and ensure payments are correctly allocated.
• Help resolve customer account discrepancies together with Accounts.
• Build and lead the group finance function — accounting, treasury, controlling, FP\&A, and tax — and set the reporting line and performance standards for entity\-level finance leadership.

3\. Capital Structure, Fundraising \& Investor Relations

• Define and execute the group's capital strategy across equity, debt, project finance, structured facilities, and asset\-backed instruments.
• Lead fundraising processes end\-to\-end: preparation of financial models and data rooms, investor and lender engagement, due diligence management, term sheet negotiation, and closing.
• Own the group financial model — multi\-year, multi\-entity, scenario\-driven — and maintain it as the single source of truth for internal decision\-making and external capital raising.
