Company Overview:The role is with a new company currently being set up to invest in financial services businesses worldwide, focused on underserved segments in emerging markets. The company is backed by one of the largest investors in the Middle East.Description:At least 1-3 years of experience in management consulting, transaction services or investment banking with experience of working on strategic projects and/or transactions. The role involves a comprehensive approach to identifying, evaluating, and pursuing investment opportunities in the financial services sector, in line with the Companys strategic objectives. This position involves conducting market research, analyzing trends, evaluating business opportunities, and assisting in the execution of mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively across various departments.Responsibilities:Conduct detailed market research and analysis to identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including mergers, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships.Support the strategic planning process by providing actionable insights and recommendations based on financial modeling, competitive analysis, and market trends.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the feasibility of potential deals and develop comprehensive business cases.Assist in the due diligence process for potential acquisitions, including financial, operational, and strategic assessments.Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations for senior management to support decision-making processes.Monitor industry trends and competitor strategies to inform strategic planning and identify potential threats or opportunities.Participate in the negotiation and execution of corporate development transactions.Support post-merger integration efforts to ensure the successful realization of deal synergies.Minimum Education Requirement:Bachelors Degree in Arts or ScienceRequired Skills and Tools:Strong analytical and quantitative skillsProficiency in financial modeling and analysisExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a team environmentStrong project management and organizational skillsExperience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPointKnowledge of financial databases and tools such as Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similarAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlinesSalary:Up to AED 30,000 per month, depending on experienceBenefits:Competitive salary and performance bonusComprehensive medical insuranceProfessional development opportunities
