The role is important for ensuring accurate technical drawings, proper material selection, project compliance, quality control, and smooth coordination between engineering teams, project stakeholders, and inspection requirements. This position contributes to reliable project execution by combining CAD design capability, electrical engineering knowledge, technical documentation, and disciplined problem-solving in a fast-moving industrial environment. Key Responsibilities * Prepare cable design layouts, technical drawings, and engineering documentation using CAD software. * Support the design of engineering cable systems for petroleum, oil and gas, power, and industrial projects. * Review project requirements and convert technical specifications into practical design outputs. * Assist in material selection for cables, accessories, components, and related electrical engineering requirements. * Coordinate with project teams to ensure design accuracy, constructability, and compliance with project standards. * Prepare, maintain, and update technical documentation, design records, schedules, and engineering files. * Check drawings and design deliverables for quality, accuracy, completeness, and alignment with client expectations. * Support project management activities by tracking design progress, deadlines, and engineering deliverables. * Identify technical issues during the design process and recommend practical solutions. * Work with inspection, certification, quality, and engineering teams to support smooth project approvals. * Ensure assigned design tasks are completed within agreed timelines while maintaining professional engineering standards. * Communicate clearly with internal teams and stakeholders regarding design updates, technical clarifications, and project priorities. Ideal Profile * BE, B.Tech, or Diploma qualification in a relevant engineering discipline. * 8-10 years of relevant experience in cable design, electrical engineering, or industrial engineering design roles. * Previous experience in petroleum, oil and gas, power, testing, inspection, certification, or industrial project environments is preferred. * Strong working knowledge of CAD software for cable design drawings and technical layouts. * Good understanding of electrical engineering concepts, cable routing, material selection, and technical standards. * Ability to prepare accurate technical documentation and engineering reports. * Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to review technical details carefully. * Good project coordination s
