About the role
Role Overview
The Finance Manager will serve as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the Supplements division, managing the end\-to\-end financial operations of the business. This role is critical for maintaining liquidity through bank liaison and optimizing the working capital cycle of the supplements' "in and out" supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
1\. Working Capital \& Treasury Management
● Liaison with Banks: Act as the primary contact for banks and short\-term lenders to secure and manage working capital facilities.
● Cash Flow Optimization: Monitor "in and out" business flows to ensure sufficient liquidity for procurement while maintaining healthy cash reserves.
● Facility Management: Manage short\-term lending instruments and ensure compliance with lender requirements.
2\. Inventory \& Supply Chain Finance
● Valuation \& Compliance: Oversee the valuation of raw materials and finished supplement products in compliance with IFRS/IAS standards.
● Inventory Control: Identify and forecast "at\-risk" inventory (short\-dated or expired supplements) to enable proactive liquidation and protect gross margins.
● Loss Prevention: Conduct deep\-dive analysis into returns and logistical losses (e.g., UPS/transportation) to recommend SOP improvements.
3\. FP\&A and Business Partnering
● Budgeting \& Forecasting: Develop and manage annual Opex and Capex budgets for the supplements division.
● Variance Analysis: Deliver monthly "Budget vs. Actual" reports, shifting focus from general ledger entries to vendor\-level insights to improve accuracy.
● Performance Dashboards: Partner with IT and Dashboard teams to automate reporting and provide real\-time visibility into business metrics.
4\. Financial Governance \& Reporting
● Audit Management: Lead statutory and internal audits, resolving queries related to inventory and financial controls.
● Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to UAE/Regional VAT regulations and IFRS reporting standards.
● Process Improvement: Streamline month\-end closing processes to accelerate decision\-making timelines.
Candidate Profile
● Education: Chartered Accountant (ICAI) or equivalent professional qualification.
● Experience: Minimum 5\+ years of experience in Business Finance or FP\&A
● Technical Skills: Proficient in Zoho ERP, Advanced Excel.
● Soft Skills: Strong negotiation skills for banking relationships and the ability to translate "numbers to strategies".
