About the role
We are seeking a detail\-oriented Material Controller with 4\-5 years of experience in the Oil \& Gas industry to manage inventory, material movements, and ERP transactions. The ideal candidate should have a Mechanical Engineering background and good knowledge of Oil \& Gas materials, including piping, valves, fittings, and mechanical components. Experience with Odoo ERP will be a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels.
- Receive, inspect, and issue materials according to company procedures.
- Process material transactions in Odoo ERP.
- Conduct periodic stock counts and inventory reconciliation.
- Monitor material availability and reorder levels.
- Ensure proper material identification, storage, and preservation.
- Coordinate with procurement and operations teams on material requirements.
- Prepare inventory and stock movement reports.
- Maintain proper documentation for all store transactions.
- Ensure compliance with HSE and company policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- 4\-5 years of experience in Oil \& Gas stores, warehouse, or inventory control.
- Knowledge of pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, fasteners, and other Oil \& Gas materials.
- Experience with ERP systems; Odoo experience preferred.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
Preferred Candidate
- Mechanical Engineer or Junior Mechanical Engineer.
- Experience in inventory management and material control.
- Familiarity with Oil \& Gas material codes, specifications, and documentation.
