Procurement Manager

SRN Mechanical Services LLC is looking for an experienced Procurement Manager with a strong Mechanical Engineering background to manage and lead procurement activities for our engineering, fabrication, manufacturing and Oil \& Gas projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, established supplier relationships in the UAE/GCC, and proven experience in sourcing engineering materials, equipment and services.

Key Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering – Mandatory

Minimum 10 years of procurement experience

Minimum 10 years of UAE/GCC experience – Mandatory

Strong experience in procurement for Engineering / Fabrication / Manufacturing / Oil \& Gas

Good knowledge of Mechanical materials, piping, structural steel, valves, fittings, flanges, fasteners, welding consumables, machinery, tools and industrial equipment

Strong understanding of technical specifications, drawings, MTO/BOQ and material standards

Established supplier/vendor network within UAE and GCC

Experience in vendor evaluation, negotiation, cost reduction and supplier development

Strong knowledge of RFQ, quotation evaluation, purchase orders and commercial negotiations

Ability to identify technically compliant and commercially competitive suppliers

Experience in managing local and international procurement

Strong understanding of lead times, delivery schedules, payment terms and logistics

Experience coordinating with Engineering, Estimation, Production, QA/QC, Projects and Finance

Oil \& Gas / ADNOC experience will be a strong advantage

Key Responsibilities

Lead the complete procurement process from RFQ to material delivery.

Develop and maintain a reliable supplier and subcontractor database.

Source materials and services based on project specifications, quality requirements and delivery schedules.

Negotiate price, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.

Evaluate technical and commercial quotations in coordination with Engineering and QA/QC.

Monitor purchase orders and ensure on\-time delivery.

Identify alternative suppliers and materials to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.

Develop long\-term relationships with key UAE/GCC suppliers.

Monitor market prices and identify opportunities for strategic purchasing.

Ensure procurement activities comply with company procedures, project requirements and approved budgets.

Coordinate with warehouse/stores to ensure proper material planning and availability.

Maintain procurement KPIs including cost savings, supplier performance, on\-time delivery and purchase order cycle time. Ideal Candidate Profile

Mechanical Engineer \+ 10\+ years Procurement experience \+ 10\+ years UAE/GCC experience \+ Engineering/Fabrication/Oil \& Gas procurement background \+ strong UAE/GCC supplier network.

We are looking for a hands\-on Procurement Manager who understands both the technical and commercial aspects of mechanical procurement and can independently manage procurement for SRN’s growing engineering and fabrication operations.
