The ideal candidate will possess the skills below and be able to work effectively in a fast\-paced environment. Ideally you will be located in Dubai Investment Park 2, UAE.

Role \& Responsibilities:

Design \& Planning

• Develop detailed lighting designs, layouts, and schematics using AutoCAD or similar software.
• Prepare and revise Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and Bills of Materials (BOM) based on project requirements and feedback.
• Handle project design preparations, including tender documents.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure accurate and timely design deliverables.

Technical Support

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to LED drivers, control systems (DALI, DMX), wiring configurations, and other electrical components.
• Provide pre\-programming support for controllers and drivers used in projects.
• Perform system testing, validation, and commissioning to ensure compliance with performance standards and specifications.

Project Coordination

• Support the Product and Sales teams with Lighting Control System Design and BOQ preparation.
• Attend technical meetings with the sales team and coordinate with contractors, site supervisors, and project managers for proper project execution.
• Conduct on\-site technical meetings, supervision, and testing as required.
• Oversee assembly processes and special product testing to ensure quality and functionality.
• Train installation/project teams, distributors, and engineers from distributors on the proposed systems, as needed.
• Lead project commissioning activities to ensure successful handover.

Documentation

• Maintain accurate records of project documentation, including drawings, BOQs, progress reports, and technical specifications.
• Ensure all documentation is up\-to\-date and accessible for reference during project phases.

Collaboration

• Work closely with senior engineers, clients, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution.
• Provide technical expertise and support during all project phases, from planning to installation and commissioning.
• Foster collaboration across departments to align project goals and deliverables.

Qualifications \& Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in the lighting/LED industry, preferably within the UAE/GCC.
• Strong knowledge of LED luminaires, lighting systems, controls, and technical specifications.
• Experience in lighting design, BOQ preparation, technical submittals, shop drawings, installation, testing \& commissioning, and site coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of Pharos, MADRIX, or equivalent lighting control/programming software is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with lighting control protocols such as DALI and DMX is an advantage.
• Experience dealing with consultants, contractors, architects, clients, and other project stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate requirements from technical approval through production/supply, installation, commissioning, and handover.
• Strong technical and problem\-solving skills, with a meticulous approach and excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional manner.
• Highly organized, proactive, flexible, and able to prioritize and multitask effectively.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with a positive, can\-do attitude.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics is advantageous.
