Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced QC Engineer to join our project team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality control procedures, ensuring construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, project requirements, and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor project quality control procedures and inspection plans.
- Review approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and ITPs.
- Conduct inspections and ensure work is carried out according to approved requirements.
- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IR), checklists, and quality records.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, and site teams regarding inspections.
- Monitor material receiving inspections and ensure materials comply with approved specifications.
- Identify quality issues and coordinate corrective and preventive actions.
- Prepare and follow up on NCRs, observations, and corrective action reports.
- Maintain proper QC documentation and inspection records.
- Conduct regular site inspections and monitor workmanship.
- Ensure testing and inspection activities are completed as per the approved ITP.
- Participate in quality meetings and provide regular quality reports.
- Assist with internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and company quality procedures.
- Coordinate with the site team to resolve quality\-related issues and prevent recurrence.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant QC/QA experience in construction or engineering projects.
- Gulf/GCC experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, ITPs, method statements, inspections, and NCR management.
- Experience working with consultants and clients on project inspections.
- Good knowledge of project specifications, drawings, and applicable standards.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Must be willing to work on site in Abu Dhabi.
Preferred
- UAE project experience.
- Relevant QA/QC certification is an advantage.
- Experience with large\-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
Salary \& Benefits
Salary: AED 7,000–8,000 per month
Other benefits will be provided as per company policy and UAE regulations.
