Part of the Global Business Unit Land and Air Systems (LAS) within Thales Group, Thales AMS (Airspace Mobility Solutions) is providing leading edge airspace control and security solutions for the commercial and defense sectors, as well as digital solutions for Unmanned Traffic Management (UTM) and Digital Aviation.

The AMS Business Line is undergoing a set of major challenges, airspace is becoming increasingly saturated, new regulations are being put in place, UTM is emerging as a new domain to tackle the challenge of the integration of new airspace users, such as drones and UAS.

UTM is a digital ecosystem of services (within a defined regulatory framework), provided to ANSPs, Airspace Managers and directly to UAS Operators themselves that manage visual\-line\-of\-sight and beyond\-visual\-line\-of\-sight UAS operations.

Thales TopSky \- AstraUTM Product line combines modular software, physical infrastructure, and premium services to enable efficient and scalable UAS integration.

MISSIONS

As Scrum Master of 2 stream aligned teams you will ensures team success through host leadership, leading rituals, removing impediments, orchestrating an agile culture and externally by protecting the team from the external interruptions

Your main activities will be :

  • Support the team delivery

Facilitate the team events ensuring they are positive, productive and kept within the time box

Proactively mitigate/remove impediments and dependencies

  • Support the Product Owner in the management of the team backlog

Coach the product Owner in refining, articulating and prioritizing the team backlog

Discuss propositions about the team organisation and contribution

  • Improve flow of value

Visualise all work, measure and optimise flow through the establishment/optimisation of processes

  • Create a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team

Teach agile practices and principles to the team

Encourage the team auto\-organisation

  • Report on the team progress

Build relevant KPIs such as burndown chart, velocity chart...

Ensure Jira data are up\-to\-date

Represent the team in weekly meeting for discussion and decision making about planning, dependencies management, sprint demos and improvements and problem\-solving workshops

Share risks and opportunities

PROFILE

What are the primary skills / knowledge?

  • Experience as a Scrum Master across multiple development teams
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks: Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP, etc.
  • Use of techniques inspired by methods and frameworks such as Management 3\.0, NVC (Nonviolent Communication), Lean, …
  • Use of common tools used to manage Agile practices: J
