Switchgear Sales Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Sales Engineer / Business Development professional with strong knowledge of Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear, Power Distribution, and Electrical Solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop new business opportunities and manage key customer accounts.
• Generate leads, evaluate RFQs, prepare quotations, and manage the complete sales cycle through order closure.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with consultants, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Prepare and review technical and commercial proposals, submittals, and quotations.
• Handle pricing, commercial negotiations, margin optimization, and contract finalization.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, and Logistics teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Support technical submissions, design reviews, and authority approvals in accordance with applicable standards and requirements.
• Promote and sell LV Panels, MDBs, SMDBs, FDBs, MCCs, ATS Panels, Synchronizing Panels, Solar AC/DC Panels, VFDs, and Soft Starters.
• Ensure solutions comply with relevant IEC, DEWA, SEWA, FEWA, and TAQA requirements.
• Identify market opportunities, expand client portfolios, generate repeat business, and achieve sales targets.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while ensuring technical and commercial compliance.

Preferred Profile:

• 3\+ years of UAE experience in electrical sales, business development, LV switchgear, or power distribution.
• Strong knowledge of LV electrical panels and power distribution systems.
• Proven experience in B2B/project sales, tendering, RFQs, negotiation, and business development.
• Strong communication, commercial negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• UAE market experience and existing industry relationships will be an advantage.
