About the role
We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical assistance, product demonstrations, training, installation and after\-sales support for advanced positioning and geospatial technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to clients for GNSS/RTK systems, Total Stations, GPS devices, SLAM systems and related solutions.
- Conduct product installation, configuration, testing and troubleshooting.
- Provide on\-site and remote technical assistance to customers.
- Conduct product demonstrations, user training and basic workflow guidance.
- Diagnose hardware, software, communication and field configuration issues.
- Support firmware/software updates, device calibration and system setup.
- Assist clients with data collection, processing and equipment operating procedures.
- Coordinate with manufacturers and internal technical teams for complex technical cases.
- Prepare service reports, technical documentation and support records.
- Support the sales team during technical meetings, demonstrations and project requirements.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, GIS, Electronics or a related technical field.
- Good practical knowledge of GNSS/RTK, Total Stations, GPS and geospatial field equipment.
- Knowledge of SLAM, LiDAR, mobile mapping or 3D scanning technologies is highly preferred.
- Good understanding of coordinate systems, field data collection and basic survey workflows.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills.
- Good English communication and customer service skills.
- Willing to travel to client sites across the UAE.
- UAE driving licence is preferred.
- Previous experience in technical support, equipment servicing or field applications is an advantage.
Pay: AED3,500\.00 \- AED5,000\.00 per month
