About the role
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in testing and commissioning of power utility / substation projects
- Valid TAQA Competency as Testing Engineer (Mandatory)
Requirements \& Responsibilities:
- Proven experience in testing and commissioning of substations (33kV / 11kV systems preferred)
- Perform testing activities for transformers, switchgear, protection systems, control \& relay panels, and associated equipment
- Preparation and review of test procedures, method statements, and test reports
- Coordinate testing and shutdown activities with client, consultant, and project teams
- Ensure compliance with TAQA standards, procedures, and safety requirements
- Interface with protection engineers and SCADA teams during energization activities
- Witnessing and documentation of pre\-commissioning and commissioning tests
- Support troubleshooting and fault analysis during testing and energization
Preferred:
- Experience with TAQA / ADDC / TRANSCO projects
- Familiarity with protection relay testing and commissioning procedures
- UAE driving license will be an advantage
