Expert Solution Architect

Purpose:

To design complex end\-to\-end technology solutions that translate business requirements into scalable, secure, resilient, and integrated architectures aligned with enterprise technology strategy and architecture standards.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design end\-to\-end solution architectures for complex business and technology initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security architecture.
• Define solution components, interfaces, technology patterns, and integration approaches.
• Design payment flows and platform solutions across schemes, partners, and core systems.
• Ensure solutions comply with enterprise architecture, cybersecurity, and technology standards.
• Ensure architectures satisfy SAMA regulatory, data residency, and audit requirements.
• Evaluate build\-versus\-buy options and assess vendor solutions against business and technical requirements.
• Conduct architecture assessments and identify technical risks, dependencies, and constraints.
• Design for high availability, resilience, and disaster recovery in payment\-critical systems.
• Review technical designs and implementations for alignment with approved architecture.
• Present and defend solution designs in architecture governance forums.
• Guide engineering teams through solution design and implementation across multiple squads.
• Support modernization, scalability, resilience, and technology optimization initiatives.
• Maintain architecture documentation, solution diagrams, and records of technical decisions.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 5\+ years in software engineering and architecture, including end\-to\-end solution ownership.
• Strong breadth across application, integration, data, cloud, and security architecture.
• Hands\-on background as a senior engineer before moving into architecture.
• Payments or banking experience, with knowledge of card schemes, ISO 8583/20022, and national payment rails.
• Professional Certificates (TOGAF or equivalent architecture certification preferred).
