Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer specializing in Plumbing Works to join our construction team. The candidate will be responsible for planning, supervising, coordinating, and executing plumbing and mechanical works for residential buildings and villas, ensuring all works are completed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, and schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage plumbing installation works for residential buildings and villas.
• Review and interpret MEP/plumbing drawings, shop drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Coordinate plumbing activities with civil, electrical, and other site teams.
• Monitor installation of water supply, drainage, soil and waste, rainwater, and sanitary systems.
• Ensure proper installation of pipes, valves, pumps, water tanks, sanitary fixtures, and related plumbing equipment.
• Conduct inspections, pressure testing, leakage testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers.
• Prepare material requirements and coordinate with the procurement/purchase team for timely availability of materials.
• Monitor site progress and ensure plumbing works are completed as per project schedule.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, UAE standards, and applicable authority requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues and site\-related plumbing problems.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and maintain necessary site documentation.
• Check material quality and ensure materials are approved before installation.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and obtain necessary approvals.
• Monitor subcontractor activities and ensure proper workmanship.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and quality requirements at the project site.
• Assist in quantity estimation, material take\-off, and preparation of plumbing BOQs when required.
• Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to the project management team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2–5 years of UAE/GCC experience in plumbing and MEP construction works.
• Strong experience in residential buildings, villas, and similar construction projects.
• Good knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, installation methods, and testing procedures.
• Ability to read and understand MEP, plumbing, and shop drawings.
• Experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Knowledge of UAE construction practices and relevant authority requirements.
• Good communication, coordination, and problem\-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD is preferred.
• UAE driving license is an advantage.

Pay: AED2,000\.00 \- AED5,000\.00 per month
