About the role
Job Description: Procurement Officer – Civil Construction \| Abu Dhabi
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Officer with a strong background in Civil Construction Procurement to join our construction team in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience in procurement, preferably within the civil construction or contracting industry.
- Strong knowledge of civil and construction materials, suppliers, and the UAE market.
- Experience sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, preparing comparison sheets, and negotiating with suppliers.
- Experience preparing and processing Purchase Orders (POs/LPOs) and purchase requests.
- Ability to review BOQs, material specifications, and project requirements.
- Experience coordinating with project managers, engineers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and accounts.
- Strong supplier/vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Ability to ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow\-up skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP/procurement software is an advantage.
- Relevant qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- UAE construction procurement experience is required/preferred.
- UAE driving license is an advantage.
