Project Supervisor

An established interior design and fit out company in Dubai \- UAE is looking for a Project Supervisor who will be responsible for supervising site activities and ensuring that interior fit\-out projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to approved drawings and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities for interior fit\-out projects, including civil, gypsum, carpentry, flooring, ceiling, painting, MEP coordination, and finishing works.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, site workers, and technicians.
• Study and interpret approved drawings, shop drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project schedules.
• Ensure all works are executed according to approved drawings, specifications, and client requirements.
• Monitor project progress and report daily/weekly updates to the Project Manager.
• Plan manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
• Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure proper integration of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire\-fighting, and other services with interior works.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure high\-quality workmanship and proper finishing.
• Identify site issues, coordinate solutions, and escalate technical or commercial matters when required.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants, clients, and authorities where applicable.
• Ensure materials delivered to site are approved and comply with project specifications.
• Maintain proper site records, including daily reports, manpower records, material deliveries, inspection requests, and work progress.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed according to the agreed schedule.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and organization of the site.
• Enforce company HSE (Health, Safety \& Environment) procedures and ensure workers follow site safety requirements.
• Assist in preparing snag lists and ensure all snagging and rectification works are completed before handover.
• Coordinate final inspection, testing, commissioning, and project handover activities.
• Maintain good communication with clients, consultants, sub\-contractors and internal teams.

Typical Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Typically 3–7 years of experience in interior fit\-out, construction, or related site supervision.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit\-out construction methods and finishing works.
• Ability to read and understand AutoCAD drawings and shop drawings.
• Knowledge of MEP coordination is highly desirable.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and installation methods.
• Strong manpower\-management skills.
• Good communication and problem\-solving abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of UAE/Dubai construction practices, HSE requirements, and site procedures.
• A UAE driving licence is mandatory.
