Quantity Surveyor

Roles \& Responsibilities

• Review and analyze contract documents, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and tender submissions upon project award.
• Prepare project budgets, cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and monitor project expenditures.
• Conduct detailed measurement and valuation of landscaping, irrigation, swimming pool, water feature, hardscape, and related works.
• Prepare and submit interim payment applications and follow up on certification and payment collection.
• Evaluate, certify, and process subcontractor and supplier payment applications in accordance with contractual terms.
• Assess, prepare, negotiate, and substantiate variations, claims, and change orders with proper supporting documentation.
• Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance teams to ensure contractual and financial compliance.
• Maintain records of project costs, variations, claims, correspondence, and contractual documentation.
• Support the resolution of contractual and commercial issues with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost\-to\-complete forecasts, and project financial updates for management.
• Assist in the preparation, negotiation, and settlement of final accounts upon project completion.
• Ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and project requirements.

Qualifications \& Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in landscaping and swimming pool projects.
• Good knowledge of contracts, BOQs, cost control, and variation management.
• Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
