About the role
Position: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Dubai, UAE
Key Responsibilities:
\* Develop detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans based on project designs and specifications.
\* Perform accurate and comprehensive quantity take\-offs from drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQ).
\* Prepare detailed BOQs and tender documentation for the tendering process.
\* Assist in evaluating and selecting subcontractors and suppliers by reviewing quotations against project requirements and budgets.
\* Identify potential commercial and project risks and incorporate them into cost estimates and tender documents.
\* Provide head\-office support to site teams, ensuring project requirements are clearly defined, coordinated, and met.
Qualifications:
\* Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
\* Minimum 2 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, preferably within the UAE.
\* Proficiency in PlanSwift for quantity take\-offs, BOQ preparation, tender estimation, and cost control.
\* Experience working on various construction projects.
\* Able to multitask and work under pressure.
\* Candidates must be currently available in the UAE.
\* Immediate joiners are preferred.
