Senior Planning Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Planning Engineer with strong hands\-on experience in Primavera P6 and proven Gulf/GCC project experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, scheduling, progress monitoring, reporting, and coordination with site and project teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline schedules, WBS, activity relationships, and detailed project programs.
• Monitor planned vs. actual progress and identify schedule deviations.
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports.
• Prepare look\-ahead schedules and recovery programs.
• Monitor critical path activities and project milestones.
• Analyze delays and schedule variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare S\-curves, progress curves, manpower histograms, and planning reports.
• Coordinate with site, engineering, procurement, subcontractors, and project management teams.
• Collect and verify site progress data for Primavera updates.
• Attend project progress meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Support delay analysis and EOT claims when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant Planning Engineer experience.
• Mandatory: Minimum 5 years of Gulf/GCC project experience.
• Mandatory: Strong hands\-on experience in Primavera P6\.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
• Experience preparing baseline schedules, look\-ahead programs, S\-curves, and progress reports.
• Knowledge of critical path and delay analysis.
• Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Must be willing to work on site in Abu Dhabi.

Salary

AED 7,000 – AED 8,000 per month
