Site Engineer - Joinery

Job Title\- Joinery Site Engineer

The Site Engineer – Joinery is responsible for supervising and coordinating joinery installation works at project sites, ensuring that all works are completed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor joinery installation works, including doors, wardrobes, kitchens, wall panels, cabinets, reception counters, and other bespoke joinery items.
• Review shop drawings, construction drawings, material specifications, and approved samples before installation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and other trades to ensure smooth execution of works.
• Take site measurements and verify dimensions before fabrication and installation.
• Check materials and finished joinery items for quality, dimensions, finishes, and compliance with approved specifications.
• Monitor installation progress and ensure works are completed according to the project programme.
• Identify and resolve site issues, clashes, discrepancies, and technical problems.
• Prepare site reports, inspection requests, material inspection requests, snagging lists, and progress updates.
• Coordinate with the joinery factory/workshop regarding fabrication, delivery, modifications, and installation requirements.
• Ensure proper installation methods and adherence to health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Conduct inspections with consultants and clients and coordinate rectification of comments and snags.
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for joinery works.
• Maintain accurate records of site measurements, variations, revisions, and completed works.
• Ensure completed joinery works meet the required quality, finishing, and workmanship standards.
• Support project handover by completing snagging, rectification, and final inspection activities.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Experience in joinery, fit\-out, interior, or construction projects.
• Good knowledge of joinery materials, fabrication, and installation methods.
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and architectural drawings.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of other construction/project software is an advantage.
• Strong site coordination, problem\-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction safety and quality\-control procedures.

UAE Driving License Mandatory

Pay: AED8,000\.00 \- AED10,000\.00 per month
