Job Summary

We are seeking a detail\-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support the procurement activities of our solar energy projects. The role will assist in sourcing materials, obtaining quotations, preparing purchase orders, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining procurement records.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in sourcing solar equipment, electrical materials, mechanical items, tools, and general project supplies.
• Obtain and compare quotations from approved suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders, material comparison sheets, and procurement documentation.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding pricing, technical documents, delivery schedules, and material availability.
• Coordinate with the engineering, project, finance, warehouse, and logistics teams.
• Maintain supplier databases, purchase records, delivery notes, invoices, and procurement trackers.
• Support vendor registration and supplier evaluation processes.
• Monitor pending purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist in verifying invoices against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Maintain proper filing and confidentiality of procurement and commercial information.
• Support the Procurement Manager with reports and other administrative duties.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 2 years of procurement experience may apply.
• Basic understanding of purchasing and supply\-chain processes.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to compare quotations and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Knowledge of solar, electrical, or construction materials will be an advantage.
• Good written and spoken English.

Pay: AED2,500\.00 \- AED3,000\.00 per hour
