Architectural Draftsman

• Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing), and civil drawings to avoid clashes.
• Create detailed 2D and 3D architectural drawings using software like AutoCAD; BIM is optional \& preferred.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, detailed drawings, and reflected ceiling plans based on architect's sketches and concepts.
• Create detailed shop drawings for joinery, doors, windows, partitions, false ceilings, and staircases.
• Ensure openings, shafts, and blockouts are correctly shown for MEP and structural works.
• Maintain version control and revision history (e.g., Revision A, B, C – Issued for Construction, As\-Built).

Job Requirements:

• AutoCAD (advanced level) – layers, blocks, x\-refs, layouts, dynamic blocks, paper space/model space.
• Understanding of architectural drawings – floor plans, elevations, sections, details, schedules.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality Code, Civil Defense requirements, DEWA regulations.
• Ability to understand architect instructions and clarify doubts.
• Coordinating with architects, engineers, and other draftsmen.
• Handling multiple revision cycles and last\-minute changes.
• Diploma or degree in Architecture with 5\+ years of experience in AutoCAD.
• Experience in UAE is a must.
• Current/previous experience in large scale construction projects (high rise and community development/villas)

Pay: AED8,000\.00 \- AED15,000\.00 per month
