About the Role

Euro Systems LLC is seeking an experienced Estimator – Metal Works to support our estimation and tendering activities across architectural metal, aluminium, steel, and customized fabrication projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for quantity take\-offs, material costing, supplier/subcontractor quotations, labor calculations, tender preparation, and commercial evaluation, ensuring competitive and profitable project pricing.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation \& Tendering

• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, and project requirements.
• Prepare detailed estimates for metal and architectural works.
• Carry out accurate quantity take\-offs from drawings and project documents.
• Calculate material, labor, fabrication, installation, transportation, and equipment costs.
• Prepare competitive and commercially viable quotations.
• Identify project scope, exclusions, assumptions, and potential risks.
• Ensure all tender submissions are completed accurately and within deadlines.

• Customized Fabrication
• Fit\-Out Metal Works
• Façade\-Related Metal Components

Costing \& Material Analysis

• Analyze material specifications, grades, sizes, thicknesses, finishes, and quantities.
• Calculate fabrication and installation requirements.
• Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate material wastage and optimize material usage.
• Maintain updated material and supplier rate databases.
• Monitor UAE market prices and identify cost fluctuations.

Supplier \& Subcontractor Coordination

• Issue RFQs to suppliers and subcontractors.
• Evaluate technical and commercial quotations.
• Negotiate competitive rates and commercial terms.
• Verify quotations against project specifications.
• Develop a reliable supplier/subcontractor database.

Technical Coordination

• Coordinate with Design, Engineering, Production, Procurement, Projects, and Sales teams.
• Clarify technical requirements and identify discrepancies in tender documents.
• Review alternative materials and construction methods.
• Support value engineering and cost optimization.
• Assist in preparing technical clarifications and tender queries.

Commercial Support

• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns and pricing summaries.
• Review project profitability and pricing strategy.
• Identify risks, exclusions, and potential variations.
• Support management during tender reviews and negotiations.
• Maintain records of submitted tenders and project costing history.
• Analyze previous project costs to improve future estimates.

Site \& Pre\-Tender Activities

• Attend site visits and pre\-tender meetings when required.
• Assess site conditions and access requirements.
• Identify installation challenges that may affect project costing.
• Gather relevant site information for accurate estimation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of experience in estimation, preferably within metal fabrication, architectural metal works, steel, aluminium, façade, or fit\-out.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
• Good understanding of fabrication and installation processes.
• Strong knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware, and fabrication methods.
