Mechanical Site Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the execution of Mechanical services (HVAC, Plumbing \& Fire Fighting) systems for various projects on construction sites, ensuring compliance with industry standards and local regulations
• Coordinate with design team for load calculations, system design, and equipment selection.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other engineering disciplines and ensure proper integration of MEP works
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, local codes, and regulations.
• Supervise and inspect mechanical installations to ensure quality and adherence to design specifications.
• Review of shop drawings, material submittals, issue RFI if any and also review payment certificates and assist the PM for certification
• Attend weekly progress meetings with Client, Contractor \& other stake holders
• Coordinate with authorities for site inspections and approvals
• Verify variation claims and evaluate for the MEP items and support contracts team for arriving eligible values
• Witness the testing and commissioning activities in line with specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to MEP systems during construction.
• Review as built \& handing over documents

·Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• 4\-6 years of UAE experience in Mechanical site inspections \& executions.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, and relevant MEP calculation tools) \& MS office
• Strong knowledge of relevant authority regulations, codes and standards of DEWA, Civil Defence, Etisalat and other regulatory bodies and approval procedures etc in Dubai
• Strong knowledge of Mechanical systems, equipment, and controls.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and project management skills.
• UAE Driving License Manditory

Pay: Up to AED12,000\.00 per month
