Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong MEP Engineer – HVAC with a minimum of 7 years of UAE experience to oversee the design, planning, execution, installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems across residential, commercial, and building projects.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands\-on experience in HVAC design and project management, with proven expertise in managing site activities, reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with consultants, controlling project costs, and leading HVAC technicians and site teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and execute HVAC systems for residential villas, offices, commercial buildings, and other MEP projects.
• Prepare HVAC load calculations, technical drawings, equipment specifications, and system designs in accordance with project requirements and applicable standards.
• Develop and implement energy\-efficient HVAC solutions while considering system performance, operational efficiency, and project cost.
• Plan and supervise HVAC installation works from mobilization through completion.
• Review and approve HVAC shop drawings, technical submittals, material submittals, and installation details.
• Coordinate HVAC works with other MEP disciplines, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
• Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and handover of HVAC systems.
• Raise and manage MIR, IR, and WIR for HVAC works and coordinate with consultants for inspection and approval.
• Monitor site progress, quality, manpower, materials, and project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Troubleshoot and resolve all types of HVAC\-related technical and site issues.
• Identify potential design, installation, and operational issues and provide effective technical solutions.
• Prepare and review project cost estimates and support the preparation of HVAC quotations and commercial proposals.
• Monitor HVAC project execution costs and ensure works are completed within approved budgets.
• Build, lead, and manage a strong team of HVAC technicians and site personnel.
• Allocate manpower and resources effectively and ensure that HVAC teams maintain high standards of workmanship and productivity.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to HVAC technicians and junior engineering staff.
• Ensure all HVAC works comply with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, HSE requirements, and relevant UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients during inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
• Prepare progress reports, technical documentation, and other project\-related HVAC reports as required.

Required Qualifications \& Experience

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / MEP Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant UAE experience in HVAC/MEP engineering.
• Strong practical experience in HVAC design, installation, testing, commissioning, and project execution.
• Proven experience working on residential villas, offices, commercial buildings, and similar projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles, load calculations, equipment selection, and system specifications.
• Experience in reviewing HVAC shop drawings and technical submittals.
• Hands\-on experience with MIR, IR, WIR, consultant inspections, and approvals.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills related to HVAC systems.
• Experience in HVAC project costing, estimation, and quotation preparation.
• Proven ability to lead and manage HVAC technicians and site teams.
