Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Fit\-Out Planning Engineer with a minimum of 6 years of UAE experience in interior fit\-out, construction, or turnkey projects.

The candidate will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and controlling project schedules from design and procurement through execution, testing, snagging, and final handover. The role requires strong expertise in Primavera P6, project coordination, progress monitoring, resource planning, procurement tracking, and delay/recovery analysis.

Key Responsibilities1\. Project Planning \& Scheduling

• Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6.
• Prepare baseline programs, WBS, activity sequencing, milestones, and project execution schedules.
• Develop Level 3/4 detailed schedules covering design, material submittals, approvals, procurement, production, site installation, testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover.
• Establish realistic activity durations, logic links, constraints, and critical path activities.
• Prepare project planning schedules in accordance with contract requirements.

2\. Progress Monitoring \& Control

• Monitor daily and weekly progress against the approved baseline program.
• Collect progress updates from site teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and procurement departments.
• Update Primavera P6 schedules and analyze schedule variance.
• Identify delays, slippages, critical activities, and potential risks.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, and management progress reports.
• Prepare S\-curves, progress dashboards, productivity reports, and schedule performance analysis.

3\. Look\-Ahead \& Recovery Planning

• Prepare and monitor 2\-week, 3\-week, and 4\-week look\-ahead programs.
• Coordinate with project managers and site teams to establish short\-term execution targets.
• Develop recovery programs when projects fall behind schedule.
• Monitor manpower, productivity, material availability, and site constraints affecting progress.

4\. Procurement \& Material Planning

• Integrate procurement schedules with the master project program.
• Track material submittals, approvals, purchase orders, manufacturing, delivery, and installation.
• Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to ensure materials are available as per site requirements.
• Highlight procurement\-related risks and their impact on project completion.

5\. Design \& Authority Coordination

• Monitor design submissions, shop drawings, material approvals, mock\-ups, and consultant/client approvals.
• Coordinate planning activities with design, engineering, MEP, joinery, and site teams.
• Track authority approvals and related timelines where applicable.
• Ensure design and approval activities are properly linked to site execution schedules.

6\. Delay Analysis \& Claims Support

• Identify causes and impacts of project delays.
• Perform critical path and delay analysis.
• Prepare time\-impact assessments and recovery schedules.
• Support the Project Manager and QS/Commercial team with EOT, variation, and delay\-related submissions.
• Maintain proper records of delays, instructions, approvals, and changes affecting the program.

7\. Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Site Engineers, Design Teams, Procurement, QS/Commercial Teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Attend internal and client/consultant planning meetings.
• Present project status, critical issues, recovery actions, and forecast completion dates to management.
• Ensure all project stakeholders are aligned with planned milestones.
