• Job Description: Project Management Head – ConstructionPosition OverviewThe Project Management Head – Construction is responsible for leading the planning, execution, and delivery of major construction projects from concept through completion. Direct Reports: Project Directors, Project Managers, Construction Managers, Planning Managers, Commercial Managers, QA/QC Managers, and other project personnel.

• Lead overall project management activities for construction projects from pre\-construction through handover.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies, master schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Manage project managers, construction managers, engineers, consultants, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Establish project objectives, KPIs, milestones, governance structures, and reporting mechanisms.
• Monitor project progress against approved cost, schedule, quality, and performance targets.
• Review and approve project schedules, method statements, procurement plans, and construction programs.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, commercial, finance, HSE, legal, and operations teams.
• Manage contractors and consultants, including performance evaluation and contractual compliance.
• Identify project risks, develop mitigation plans, and proactively resolve critical issues.
• Oversee cost control, variations, claims, cash flow, forecasting, and change management.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.
• Drive implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies across all project sites.
• Lead project review meetings and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Manage client, consultant, authority, contractor, and other key stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials, equipment, manpower, and specialist subcontractors.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, completion, documentation, and project handover.
• Establish lessons\-learned processes and continuously improve project delivery standards.
• Support business development, tendering, feasibility studies, and project budgeting when required.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• A master's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or Business Administration is an advantage.
• Professional certification such as PMP, PRINCE2, RICS, or equivalent is preferred.
• Relevant professional engineering or construction certification where applicable.
• Typically 15–20\+ years of experience in construction/project management, with significant experience managing large\-scale or complex projects.
• Proven experience in a senior project management or project director/head position.
• Strong experience managing multiple projects, multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and consultants.
• Experience with large commercial, residential, hospitality, infrastructure, industrial, or mixed\-use developments is preferred.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering projects within approved cost, schedule, quality, and safety parameters.
