About the role

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare quantity take\-offs and material quantity calculations from drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Review BOQs, tender documents, drawings, and project specifications.
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, rate analysis, and pricing for MEP works.
  • Prepare and submit interim payment applications and follow up on certification and payments.
  • Measure completed works and prepare monthly valuations.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and track variation orders and claims.
  • Review variations, additional works, and omissions and maintain proper records.
  • Prepare subcontractor and supplier measurement sheets and payment evaluations.
  • Monitor project quantities, costs, and material consumption against the approved budget.
  • Assist in preparing final accounts and project close\-out documentation.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Procurement, Planning, and Accounts teams.
  • Review subcontractor quotations and assist in commercial negotiations.
  • Maintain proper records of contracts, BOQs, variations, payments, and commercial correspondence.
  • Identify potential commercial risks and support the project team in minimizing cost overruns.
  • Ensure all commercial activities are carried out in accordance with contract terms and project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience, preferably in UAE/GCC MEP contracting.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP quantity surveying and commercial management.
  • Good understanding of BOQ, measurement, valuation, variations, claims, and final accounts.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
  • Good understanding of MEP drawings and specifications.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and documentation skills.
  • UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Pay: AED2,500\.00 \- AED4,000\.00 per month
