Quantity Surveyor

A Landscape Company is searching for an active special Quantity Surveyor to join its team.

The Job Description:

• Review, monitor and report on financial status;
• Liaise with consultant’s office related to financial matters when necessary;
• Full awareness of the contractual requirements;
• Measure work done, materials on site, etc., and prepare valuations in accordance with clients/consultants’ procedures;
• Evaluate and administer Change Orders and Day Works;
• Ensure that all procedures are required by the contract are followed;
• Prepare final account;
• Obtain inputs from Construction Manager and prepare applications for payments;
• Ensure all contractual or commercial issues are timely addressed and incorporated in the monthly payment applications and variation claims;
• Develop cost plans, cost estimates and cash flow analysis;
• Monitor, maintain man hour records and cost estimate or preparation of claims for any additional works instructed on day work rates basis;
• Prepare variation claims with all detailed working or backups;
• Monitor all changes or variations to the project scope, timely initial requests for Engineer’s instruction and maintain records/variation register.
• Effectively implements the company’s cost procedures for project cost or budget reports and forecast.
• The additional QS support is required to ensure timely budget preparation, recaps, procurement coordination, and to prepare all VOs and IPAs as per projects' needs.

Required Skills:

\- University Degree

\- Minimum 3 to 4 years’ experience in Landscape zone.

\- Fluent in English

\- A team player with proven ability to work under Pressure and to meet deadlines.

\- Proven working experience in Quantity Surveyor engineering.

\- Proficiency in site layout, grading, utility design, erosion control, regulatory approvals etc
