About the role
We are hiring an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) for a Main Contractor in Dubai.
Mandatory Requirements:
\* Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
\* Minimum 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in the construction industry.
\* UAE construction experience is mandatory.
\* Proven experience in HIGH\-RISE BUILDING PROJECTS is mandatory.
\* Candidates without high\-rise construction experience will not be considered.
\* Previous experience with a Main Contractor is required.
\* Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take\-off, variations, subcontractor payments, cost control, and final accounts.
\* Experience in reviewing drawings, specifications, contracts, and project documentation.
\* Good knowledge of MS Excel and QS\-related software.
\* Candidates must currently be available in the UAE.
Key Responsibilities:
\* Prepare quantity take\-offs and BOQs.
\* Prepare and review interim payment applications.
\* Evaluate subcontractor quotations and payment applications.
\* Prepare variations, claims, and cost reports.
\* Monitor project budgets and commercial performance.
\* Manage subcontractor accounts and final accounts.
\* Coordinate with project, procurement, contracts, and finance teams.
