Technical Engineer

Silver Falcon General Contracting L.L.C. is a UAE\-based general contracting company involved in construction and building projects in Abu Dhabi.

We are currently looking for an experienced Technical Engineer to join our team and support our construction projects, with significant involvement in projects and requirements related to Aldar Properties.

About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of relevant construction experience, with strong technical knowledge and hands\-on experience in building construction projects.

Experience with 2 basement \+ 9\-floor buildings or similar multi\-storey projects is highly preferred. The candidate should be confident in technical coordination, drawings, documentation, consultant/client communication and resolving technical issues on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and interpret architectural, structural and MEP drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate technical requirements between consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, technical submittals, material submittals and method statements.
• Prepare, submit and follow up on RFIs and technical queries.
• Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants and client representatives regarding technical matters.
• Identify design discrepancies, clashes and technical issues and coordinate appropriate solutions.
• Support site teams with technical clarification and construction\-related requirements.
• Review technical documents and ensure timely submission and approval.
• Coordinate architectural, structural and MEP requirements where necessary.
• Attend technical coordination meetings and follow up on action points.
• Maintain proper technical records and project documentation.
• Assist in monitoring quality and technical compliance throughout the project.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers regarding technical requirements.
• Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
• Support the Project Manager and site team in resolving technical and construction issues.
• Follow project\-specific requirements and procedures, particularly those applicable to Aldar projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction.
• Strong UAE construction experience is preferred.
• Proven experience in building construction and multi\-storey projects.
• Experience with 2 basements \+ 9 floors or similar projects is highly preferred.
• Previous experience working on Aldar projects or with Aldar requirements is a strong advantage.
• Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Experience with shop drawings, RFIs, method statements and material submittals.
• Good understanding of construction methods and site coordination.
• Strong knowledge of quality control and construction standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
• Strong problem\-solving and decision\-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation.
• Knowledge of UAE construction regulations and standards.
• UAE Driving License is an advantage.
